Don't try. With a broken spring the door weighs 150–300 lbs and the opener isn't built to lift it — forcing it burns out the motor or bends the track. Pull the red release cord, leave the door down, and call us.
Do you replace both springs or just the broken one?
Both, always, in matched pairs. Springs wear at the same rate, so if one let go the other is right behind it. Replacing the pair costs a little more today and saves you a second service call in a few months.
How long does a typical repair take?
Most spring, cable, and roller jobs are done in 60–90 minutes. Opener swaps run about two hours. A full new door installation is usually a half day.
What does it cost?
It depends on the part and your door's size, so we quote flat at the door before we start. What we can promise: one number, no hourly meter, and no charges added after the fact.
Do you work on commercial doors?
Our focus is residential — houses, detached garages, and shops. If you've got a rolling steel or commercial overhead door, call and we'll tell you honestly whether it's in our lane.
Is there a warranty?
Yes — parts carry the manufacturer warranty and our labor is warrantied on top of it. If something we touched isn't right, call us and we come back out.
